The Robinhood x Arbitrum announcement should be noted as the perfect example of why CT is the dumbest fucking environment for getting consensus on reality. If you were to believe the "consensus of CT" over the last two years: Arbitrum was dead, a ghost chain. This announcement demonstrated the gulf of a divide between CT perception and objective reality.

Builders overindex on the former because they get paid more in rewards relative to the time investment compared to putting in work for a long bet with much lowered success rate. Protocols overindex on rewarding the former because it makes their ecosystem's vanity metrics look better and increases the number of "partnerships" they can claim. If you want to fix the cycle, we have to kill the partnership meta, we have to stop falling for VC portco incest as evidence of real traction, we have to go back to the standard Bitcoin set for this industry. What are the Q API failovers? Q Inc providing these is a US company. meaning it has to follow US regulation or am I mistaken since it's all on Q? Though then loosing access to Q Storage / KMS how would one continue operations? Say one moves some keys to Q or uses Q for storage of documents. Follow up if I want these documents (e.g. business or personal PDFs) to remain secret how's that ensured?
