I woke up this morning to the smell of bacon this morning, which makes sense because as I was brushing my teeth last night the mirror told me I had a slight vitamin D deficiency. Bacon, eggs and the perfect cup of coffee. I remember when coffee had variance based on the beans, and the technique that was used to make it but now it’s just perfect all the time. My agent reminded me that I had a haircut appointment with my favorite barber and that my robo taxi was waiting. I stepped in and listened to the 90s style boombap it made just for me. In between songs it tells me about the latest FC Barcelona drama. I arrive and I prefer the human barber over the robots because I know he also loves futbol and we chat while his tools do most of the work. We pick up our monthly argument on who the GOAT is and he pulls up Messi’s stats on the mirror while I laugh and pull up Lamine Yamal’s stats which 10x Messi in every meaningful way. We spend the next 20m sharing our favorite clips. We fist bump and I walk out while my agent pays in USDC which instantly splits the payment with the barber and the shop. I tip him in his Creator Coin since he’s tax free and I know hos favorite haunts accept it. I head to the studio and make some art. I’m old enough to remember work and rent and all the stresses that come with it and am happy that those times are over and that my children never had to experience that. Still there is a premium on human made luxuries and I’m hoping someone uses their UBI discretionary budget to buy one of my paintings. Money isn’t used for much anymore but making a little in top of the UBI affords me the luxuries of human goods, like the haircut I just got. My kids think I’m crazy that I prefer inferior human goods but I’m a little old school and have been resistant to the brain implants that they use for human connection. When I’m done I meet my wife for a bottle of wine. We reminisce about the times when wine had vintages and climates and terroir were not perfectly controlled. Even the best wines are inferior to what we are drinking right now and we laugh at ourselves remembering when people yearned for buying music on vinyl in the era of streaming music. Life is good and we can’t wait for what tomorrow brings.

I do not question taste an I deeply love bacon eggs, but coffee isn’t the right drink for it… moreover coffee is not a good drink at all, is full of acrillammine, some toxic 💩
