My 1 hour flight was oversold and they just got up to $1300 in flight credit for someone taking a later flight today since no one wanted to. It was at a standstill then finally someone took it and the entire plane cheered

over a band in credit i would of back flipped off the plane. with the right planning you can turn that into like three trips maybe 4 

got offered this once by united and took it to stay in denver longer to spend more time with a friend post ethdenver and united simply never paid out
