The Clever Parrot: A man buys a parrot from a pet shop, hoping for a fun companion. The shopkeeper warns, "This parrot’s got a bit of an attitude, but he’s hilarious." The man takes him home, and the parrot immediately starts squawking, "I’m the king of this house! Bow down!" The man laughs it off, but the parrot keeps insulting his cooking, his clothes, even his haircut. One day, fed up, the man says, "That’s it, parrot! You’re going in the freezer for ten minutes to cool off!" He puts the bird in the freezer, waits, and opens the door. The parrot walks out, shivering, and says, "Okay, okay, I’ll behave! But tell me, what did the chicken in there do to deserve a life sentence?"

around a year ago, back at home. funny, i made this piece for a show but i actually didn't want to sell it, so i priced it at $1000 because i knew nobody would pay for it. somehow i loved it...thought it was one of my best works, so i couldn't let go. it didn't sell just as planned, but a few months later i realized i actually don't like it that much and would rather have an extra $200 or something. anyways, i've been missing my place, my friends and my setup.
