you're right, most of this is unworkable.

Merkle should have shipped threshold signers by now.

you may be extending respect, but breaking the key into shamir shares would be the same gesture by result. 

because either way, the key holders are beholden to Merkle or Coinbase as central authority. you did ask anon to import their key for DMing, that's the same deal.

feel free to propose a different solution

burning is out of the question due to respect to people who still post (like you)

giving access to another central authority (not me) is also out of question for anonimity

me spending time on moderating or adding other apps after aug 1st is out of question as well
