there's this type of person in tech, finance, and media
that's spend the past 2-3 generations having their way.
problem with those industries is that the lifestyle depends on narrative of its participants, who said what, who has dirt, and which social circle is on cheerleading duty.
what shows up in public to milk retail is child's play. everyone's desperate to get rich quick, as the lava rises.
behind the curtain and in the groupchats, there's this kind of personality that imagines themselves as such nobility performing such abstract feats of goodness, they expect loyalty.
but not actual loyalty from the real world. they want silence when they want it, deception by dilution for their tribal agenda, retaliation for whoever's an obstacle, feedback and advice when they order it.
the world is supposed to bend in their favor, because they weren't lucky and in the right place at the right time. don't you know they're blessedly special?
how dare someone speak their own mind, pointing out what bothers them? 1 reply
