I was afraid to start driving school and get my driver's license.
Stories about corruption scared me, and to top it off, I had just dyed my hair blonde—I could already imagine the stereotypical comments from instructors and inspectors. But I really, really wanted to drive.
What I didn't expect was that my journey to getting a driver's license would take eight months.
