Hard to gauge size with the photo but I’m assuming typical digital camera size. If so, yeah it definitely makes sense.

Urethane casting will be more cost effective (if ordering from china), far better finish, and more consistent tolerances. Personally I think it’s a better process for getting feedback on beta units. 

It’s been a while since I’ve made an order from one of my china supplier though, so not sure how tariffs/custom fees are impacting price. But happy to connect you
