Also do i need to sign for each pixel? A better ux is allow user to color a bunch of pixels and then save them in single signature

You don't need to sign every time you click.

The signature serves to authenticate your wallet, as the backend will take your pixels to draw.

Did you buy a pixel pack (including gas?)

If you don't have any gas next to the gas icon, you'll need to drop some by clicking on the icon.

The backend triggers transactions so you don't have to sign every time you click.
