What makes a crypto asset a strong long term store of value?

Some properties I think are important:
- Wide token distribution
- Wide, unsubsidized node distribution
- Multiple independent clients
- Permissionless block production

Predictable monetary policy
Security budget that can sustain itself long term
Strong social consensus 
Usage beyond speculation (settlement, collateral, etc.)

What you listed are great fundamentals though, especially node + client diversity. Without those, decentralisation is mostly just branding.
