Life is strange.
In secondary school, I had a friend, not just any friend. We sat side by side, Monday thru Friday, for six solid years. We shared notes, laughs, secrets, and growing pains. We were part of each other’s daily life, almost like family.
Then we graduated. Life pulled us in different directions.
We saw each other once after that… and then, nothing.
No calls. No messages. Just silence.
Now, 25 years later, I have her contact again.
And yet… I’m hesitating. Just to say “hi.”
Not because I don’t want to.
But because I don’t know where to begin.
