Still not worried. My optimistic take is that LLMs fix this by forcing schools to reorganize around a more Socratic method / Harkness table approach, especially regarding the humanities. Language arts classes are restructured around how LLMs work under the hood, where students are specifically taught semantics and how to write good prompts (which is just a distillation of how to write good essays). To wit apropos of nothing I mean which to say: in the future all students will be philosopher kings and queens. And this will give rise to newer, more sophisticated problems that we’ll still be able to blame high schools for.
