interesting UX problem with ERC-4337 smart wallets: users expect to be able to export a PK and import it to other wallets, and have it be the same wallet

AFAIK this isn’t possible, any ideas? for now I’ve just stopped exposing the owner EOA PK

Ah I see what you're saying. Still requires a frontend to reconnect to the smart account.

Another option is a "withdraw all" button to a EOA of their choice

what do you mean by portable? the PK exports over to MM or CB fine, but since it’s the owner and not the contract, users see a zero balance and think they got rugged

wallet connect isn’t a bad idea

Depends what your EOA is? If the EOA is portable then the smart account is also portable. App to app WC is also an option
