And now that I have the historical story of Pharaoh, why I'm talking about this, because there are so many very interesting events to discuss, one of which is
Pharaoh Akhenaten, formerly known as Amenhotep IV, ruled Egypt in the 14th century BCE and is known for his radical religious reforms. Early in his reign, he changed his name to Akhenaten, meaning βEffective of the Aten,β as a symbol of his devotion to the sun god Aten. Akhenaten abandoned the worship of traditional Egyptian gods, such as Amun, and replaced them with Atenism, the sole worship of Aten, which some historians believe was an early form of monotheism. This move created tensions with the priests of Amun and ushered in major changes in Egyptian religious life. Continue on comentπ
