appreciation

today i appreciate:

1) artlu: who has been one of my favorite big voices on farcaster as long as i remember knowing of them

2) beet juice: not to sweat and refreshing although easy to stain 

3) how sometimes its easier to appreciate something once its gone

/scribble inminiapp scribbling and nft minting

On #3, The saying "you don't know what you have till it's gone" strongly resonates with me

It's not easy to notice everything currently in your life and the impact it has on you.

But when things get removed, they can create a void. And that void becomes noticeable as you now attempt to navigate around it. 

When we try to build our life we are limited to the resources in our immediate proximity. But the more progress we make, the more variances we have in building material. We can "upgrade" and change course more easily. 

But sometimes to do that we have to leave previous material/ parts of us behind. 

And sometimes we don't notice what we left behind until it's too late, and we can no longer access that part of us 😢

But at the end of the day all we can do is appreciate the role it played in making us who we are today. 🫡

Perfect example when things/people come back temporarily I’ve often found it hard to say good bye because that time I’ve already known the loss of them not being around

Years ago I didn't even realize I was depressed until I took a vacation to see my friends.

When I came back, I realized that I didn't have many friends in my new city, especially close friends who I could share with. So I immediately became depressed.

I had a void I didn't realize, temporarily filled it, and then when i returned home it became blatantly obvious just how big that void was.

Well said I can identify much with this statement especially how the voids can be more noticeable then the thing themselves
