I hate most things about being alive in 2025 but will make an exception for the feeling of flying down a hill on my bike through the woods right before a thunderstorm like I did last night

A month ago I was having a horrendous day so I walked into the woods as I knew a downpour was coming.

And just sat on the ground for the next hour getting poured on by rain.

An incredible grounding experience. All senses activated by the rain.

Hard to focus on other worldly issues when nature is performing right in front of you
