happy father’s day to my dad, featured here in the local news as a model immigrant, long before i was born.

back then, he left malaysia in search of a better life for our family. and singapore, his leap of faith, has truly become the place that kept on giving.

there are days i wonder what i’m doing in america, and what exactly i’m chasing.

only time will tell.

for now, i live in the in-between…
of hope and longing, of gratitude and becoming.
