wow. What do you use for the icons? Do I need a special font? A specific terminal app like iTerm?

It's a nerd font! https://www.nerdfonts.com You can generally install the font, set your terminal emulator to use it, and any cli apps that use the icons will show up. There's also a font patcher that can take an existing font and inject the icons too 🔥

Nice!!! Will look into it. I wonder why we haven't seen a more advanced terminal spec, after all these years. Something we could send it escape sequences and change fonts in-line, or show images (like iTerm does), or do other cool stuff.
