yah tradfi is surely going to take some people's lunch money and that's especially scary for builders. but they aren't going to blot out the sun, these are slow and decrepit institutions that people will innovate circles around, might take a while tho

100% agree and this is my biggest concern in crypto right now

even more than USDC having fork choice on ETH

ENA is super extractive to eth, but i almost have to appreciate how elegant of an extraction machine they built.

1. get people to deposit money for yield
2. get yield by shorting eth
3. issue stablecoin backed by deposits
4. create stablecoin demand

repeat until enough $ to migrate from eth you your own L1
