Genuinely curious to see what “open sourcing the client” means for farcaster. I have a feeling that many will be surprised

I think it will be open-sourcing the “blueprint” of how to build a Farcaster client at scale

Have been meaning to get this off my chest: farcaster doesn’t know what scale is :p

scale is relative indeed. 100k DAUs is very different to 1/10/100M. not saying you're unprepared to fix the problems that will arise, just saying this network has yet to even face them

Scale is relative. 

Also our team learned a lot about what scale is building the systems at your current employer.
