somehow my crypto taxes get harder to manage with every tax year. there isn't even anyone i can pay to do it for me bc it requires so much context need to classify and consolidate txs across CEXs/chains/wallets with context across different emails and social platforms (public and DMs), seems like such a hard problem

have been paying taxes on my crypto since 2017. goes without saying i would be a lot wealthier if i didn't have to maybe the most unfair part is that many probably don't even know they should so they sleep fine at night anyway

related: 17 was my first year, getting paid to work in crypto. in 17 and 18 I put my salary tax money aside, but left it in crypto. market crashed ofc. this wasnt a good idea, and it left me with back taxes that took me a couple years to pay off
