pretty disinterested in accounts on here with one-way relationships to their audiences

It is probably the single biggest thing that sets FC apart. It's still small enough for the community to socially enforce two way engagement. For a lot of people that come in from other networks if they were big they don't like that it isn't just another distro channel and instead becomes a job if they don't vibe w/ the community. For smaller accounts this leads to the cozy corner experience if they are able to find some like minded accounts and break through the filters. Definitely issues with the model but it seems to be what sets this place apart and makes it special. 

Hope we can preserve it as we grow but the track record on other networks makes this feel unlikely. Either way I am going to continue to enjoy my time here 🙂
