there aren't many world class app builders in crypto today and no level of direct app layer support from the ethereum foundation is going to change that

(That’s not to say people in crypto aren’t talented. But need more talented people building to increase surface area / shots on goal.)

Crypto traditionally was infra and regulatory constrained (at least in US).

It’s now talent constrained. Which is a good / solvable thing.

i dont see a lack of interest, its a high barrier to entry 
building web3 dapps that have 1/2 the features as a traditional web2 is hard

I think it’s more than just lack of world class builders. There’s also a disconnect between what’s technically possible and what users actually need
