Robinhood disclosed today its acquisition of Canadian cryptocurrency firm, WonderFi. This is set to purchase them outright, known as an all-cash deal, worth about $178 million CAD converted roughly to USD.
Worth CA$250 million total.
Why? Because Robinhood wants to expand their business into Canada's expanding digital assets market which deals in things like cryptocurrencies that act as virtual money or other kinds of crypto-backed products you can buy and sell online securely.
