I believe this paper is about 8 months old. If I remember correctly it found that the models ability to reason would fit the distribution of the reasoning in the training data. I don't see how that's any different from how we learn to reason.

This is as good of a reason as ever to never put a death certificate onchain. It might be far less simple with Assassination Politics and larger markets but for regular everyday people, better to keep if off the chain, else it could be used to resolve a contract anonymously.

Kind of reminds me of when the AI boom started. When asked why they weren't invested in Nvidia, a lot a ML people just thought it was "too obvious" and missed the boat.
