On October 31, Romania’s National Gambling Office (ONJN) placed the prediction-market platform Polymarket on its blacklist, stating that it provides gambling services in the country without a license. The regulator clarified that wagers made in either fiat or cryptocurrencies are considered gambling activities and therefore require proper authorization.
