I came on an F1 in 2002, got a job on OPT, couldn’t get H1B because of lottery woes so went back to Pakistan in 2009 (stayed on J1 after OPT expired)

Returned to the US on EB1A in 2017. That H1B quota screwed me over and I didn’t learn about EB1 till much much later.
