Finished adding some forged texture to the knives. I also cleaned up some of the edges. Next I need to grind out the bevels.

I make things with my hands. Mostly sharp things, but pretty things nonetheless.

Does texturing do anything structurally. 

Positive or negative.

It’s mostly cosmetic, I find this texture aesthetically pleasing. Theoretically it reduces drag. As long as the steel is normalized, heat treated, and tempered properly there are no negatives.
