Outside of tech and the cargo cult of late capitalism, I think town planning can go a long way to ameliorate this. Pubs, churches, parks all are dying (or being replaced by hyper real echoes). More third places, less atomisation I reckon.

Thanks for the recommendation- we actually helped out edge city a couple of EthDenver’s ago good people. And you are right, I have a tendency to go too blue sky which implies simplicity (which change rarely is).

yes, town and urban planning can go a long way to ameliorate this but it is insanely hard to revamp existing towns / cities due to regulations and laws and takes insanely long to build new towns / cities.
