the question is what is the alternative? recently toly & ansem shilled something called gavel. The logo is the nasdaq logo rotated by 90 degrees and made more blocky. first launch was tolys memecoin $ibrl . down 80% from the top. so you have this "ipo on the onchain nasdaq" and then you have pump. dumping on retail like this just feels insincere. Both ansem and toly are invested in the company behind it called ellipsis labs. I really dont understand why they do this. Vitalik in 2016 was serious about the world computer. I wish they treated their own visions of the on chain nasdaq and ibrl like this. But they dont. Solana has some very impressive people and tech. There good people in the trenches as well. The real culprit is not pump fun. The outwardly "serious people" are even more extractive and cynical. On pump fun you are at least entertained as you get fleeced. The devs put in effort to entertain. VC vapor bags are not funny

the program becomes part of the global state. It is priced highly because the ram requirements of all solana validators are downstream from this. But in case your miniapp does not work out you can reclaim most of the funds.

cynical take lol came here a few days ago to try it. was pleasantly suprised by a low noise environment. tbh i couldnt care less if some people get a few bucks more or less for their yapping. and i am happy for your you guys to succeed if that is the way you can most adequately fulfill your highest earning potential. yap as hard as you can I am happy to support you with my cash 🙂👍
