Went to a drift event today — and it was wild. Hard to put into words the kind of energy that hits you there. The air was thick with burnt rubber, engines roaring with chest-pounding vibrations. On the track — pure Japanese legends: Nissan Laurel, Mark II, Chaser, Supra. Every car looked like it came straight off the pages of an old JDM magazine. The style, the sound, the aggression — all real. The drivers were pushing it hard: insane angles, clean exits, smoke everywhere. Watching it felt like stepping into a living tribute to JDM culture. It’s not just racing — it’s a full-blown atmosphere you can only feel when you’re there.

Decided to rewatch John Wick. Sometimes you just need that kind of film — stylish, precise, no unnecessary talk. Every move, every frame is calculated to perfection. The sound, the lighting, the rhythm — all on point. The first movie especially hits different — it’s not just action, it’s the atmosphere that pulls you in from the first scene. Watching it now, I don’t just follow the shootouts — I see how he carries pain like he’s not even alive anymore, just moving forward on autopilot. And somehow, that hits hard.

2 AM, can't sleep, decided to walk through the sleeping city 🌙 Streets are empty, just occasional taxis and night shifts. There's something magical about the city after midnight — it becomes completely different, like putting on a new mask. Walking past closed cafes where life buzzes during the day. Now they look like movie sets. Windows are lit, but behind the glass is silence. The city sleeps, but not quite — it breathes steadily, resting before a new day. Meet another insomniac with a dog. We nod at each other — we're members of the secret night walk club. Return home feeling like I've seen a secret version of my city. In the morning everything will be ordinary again, but now I know its nighttime secret.

Car’s in the shop, it’s pouring outside, and I have to walk 40 minutes to work ☔ Standing before a choice: umbrella or hood? End up taking both — I know myself, I’ll definitely get soaked! Step outside and realize I forgot what it’s like to walk in the rain without rushing. When you drive, rain is just an obstacle. But when you walk, it becomes part of the journey. Drops drumming on the umbrella, puddles reflecting neon signs, the city looks like a noir film. Arrive at work wet but satisfied. Colleagues look at me like I’m crazy: “Why not take a taxi?” And I think — when else will I have a reason to feel the city like this? Sometimes breakdowns teach us to live differently.

6:30 AM, the city is still asleep, but I’m already brewing my ritual coffee ☕ There’s nothing more beautiful than these quiet minutes alone with myself and the aroma of freshly ground beans. Today I picked Ethiopian beans — floral notes and light acidity, like spring in a cup. Looking out the window at empty streets, thinking how few people know this magic of early morning. No one around, just you and your thoughts. Sometimes it feels like the whole world belongs only to you. In an hour the usual hustle will begin, but right now — this time is mine alone. Maybe that’s why I became a morning person. Not because of productivity, but because of these sacred minutes of peace.

Once again, the three of us are dropping onto good old Erangel 🪂 We know this island by heart — every house, every hill, every ambush spot. But the magic never fades! Today we decided to land at School, just like in the old days. One friend traditionally grabs a sniper and camps on the roof, the second is an assault guy with a shotgun, and I’m always the one picking up everything that’s lying around 😄 The circle is closing, it’s just the three of us against a full squad. Heart pounding like it’s the first time! This is why I love this game — it never gets old. Every match is unique, every decision could be your last. And it doesn’t matter if we win or lose, what matters are these moments of tension and joy together with friends.

Not every day feels like progress. Sometimes you just go through the motions — no hype, no spark — but you keep going. And there’s power in that. Not giving up when things aren’t perfect is still a step forward, just a quieter one. The more of these days you get through, the stronger you become. It’s not flashy, but it’s solid. And that’s what matters.

Hopped in the car, heading into the city to grab some groceries. Sometimes these runs aren’t just about food — it’s a way to clear your head. Music’s on, roads are calm, thoughts slowly sorting themselves out. There’s something comforting about choosing everything yourself, picking up something for the evening, maybe even grabbing a coffee. It’s a small routine, but somehow it became part of what keeps me grounded.

After work — just calm, quiet, no rush. Threw on something light in the background, made some tea, sat down and let the day go. No news, no tasks, no stress. Just a reset. Evenings like this matter as much as the busy ones — when you don’t owe anything to anyone, aren’t rushing anywhere, and just allow yourself to breathe. Sometimes it’s in these little moments that life actually feels real.

Played REPO for the first time today. There were four of us — and honestly, it was one of those sessions where everyone was immediately on the same vibe. We started off figuring out the mechanics, testing roles, messing up, sweating, but then the rhythm clicked. Real teamwork kicked in, loud reactions, epic fails, clutch moments — everything you want. The game isn’t just fun, it’s immersive. There’s a tension to it that keeps you locked in the whole time. Already looking forward to the next session. If this keeps up, it might just become our new favorite for team nights.

There’s this strange moment when everything on the outside looks the same — same routine, same tasks, same people around you. But something inside has shifted. You feel a bit calmer, a bit more confident, less reactive to nonsense. It’s not a leap or a breakthrough — it’s quiet, and that’s where real progress happens. No one else will notice it, but that’s exactly where the strength lies.

Heading to the gym tomorrow — I can already feel my body asking for it. I want to get back into the rhythm: warm-up, dumbbells, basic lifts, sweat, and that post-workout feeling when you feel like you’ve been reassembled. I’m planning to go with my usual routine — something for chest, back, a bit of legs, and light cardio to wrap it up. Not trying to destroy myself, just feel like I’m putting in the work. Especially after stressful days, the gym gives me structure. You show up and it all makes sense — iron, music, tempo. And you. Pure process, no noise. That’s what I go for.

Today it became clear — the injection pump on my Toyota Corolla is done. The signs were all there: no power, sluggish acceleration, struggles during overtaking, and it drives like something’s holding it back. Ran diagnostics — confirmed. I ordered everything I need for the repair: a Toyota seal, a rebuild kit from Zexel, and a Denso plunger pair. Planning to tear it down and rebuild it this Sunday. Hoping it’ll run like it used to — proper throttle response, decent pull. Honestly a bit nervous, since fuel pumps aren’t the easiest thing to work on, but I’ve got no choice. I just want to bring it back to life and enjoy the drive again.

Sometimes the hardest battlefield is yourself. Not the circumstances, not other people, not the to-do list — but those old habits you should’ve let go of a long time ago. I’m learning not to chase perfection, just to move step by step. Working on yourself is a marathon, not a sprint.

Got together with the crew again for some Rainbow Six Siege. As always — yelling, laughter, blaming each other for fails, and tons of hype. Even when we lose, it’s still a blast. Everyone’s got their role, their habits — but when it all clicks, it feels like we’re a real spec ops team. Nights like this are the best kind of recharge.

Walking around the gym just to rack up some steps before cardio. Sometimes it’s easier than going outside — just looping between machines, headphones in, loosening up. My body’s waking up slowly. Gonna do some light cardio after this to get the heart going too. Feels small, but it really sets the tone.

Watching 2 Fast 2 Furious right now and feeling some strong nostalgia. Neon lights, crazy tuning, races, and that early 2000s vibe — it all brings back memories of when movies were simple but still so cool. It’s wild how these scenes still manage to bring that energy.

I’m currently at work with the Chinese team. Sitting here waiting for my Russian colleague — we need to go over the as-built documentation. Hopefully we can wrap things up quickly, since there’s still a lot to do. As usual, the atmosphere here is calm but tense in its own way.

I’ve decided to wear a blazer to work tomorrow. I’ve been wanting to change up my style for a while now, and this feels like the right moment. Sometimes, I just want to look not only neat but truly sharp. I wonder if my coworkers will notice and how they’ll react. Either way, it definitely feels like a step forward for myself.
