If you use a standing desk, have you experienced this?

I try to stand for at least 75% of my day.

A weird thing I've noticed is that often I feel the urge to sit down when turning to a task that needs high concentration. Similarly, I'm slightly more likely to procrastinate on starting such asks when I'm standing. 

What's up with that?

admittedly i am not familiar personally with that scenario, but i could see how its similar

is this like when you have to turn down the music to see better when you’re looking for a house number on a dark street?

Yes. Absolutely. Trying to get my sit/stand optionality activated to address this issue.

Prefer standing most of the day, but sometimes just need to sit and focus.
