I created a Coinbase smart wallet a year ago, but when I opened the new base app it created a new one for me

I’ve been told that I can access the new wallet here (base app) and on account.base.app, but it’s not clear how

Any suggestions from the base crew?

Definitely want you to keep access. When trying to login to account.base.app, can you try scanning the QR code with a normal camera instead of in-app? So long as you have access to the same device with original passkey, you should be able to open on the popup window.

honestly im totally fine with having a new wallet, since I didn't end up using the "old" one all that much and am happy to switch

so mainly would love to be able to access the new one outside the base app

During onboarding there should have been an option to sign in with an existing wallet which would have used the same passkey you originally signed up with. 

Can you share more about the device your original passkey was created on?
