A) a smart contract developer can build a new contract that reads from or writes to any other smart contract of their choosing…

B) …without their code needing to touch offchain software

I believe that on balance the rollup centric roadmap was and is still the right approach, but one of the downsides that we must address is its impact on composability.

Based rollups are a step in the right direction to having our cake and eating it too.

Is this a subtweet about the fantastical rollup centric roadmap being a mistake?
