Life happens. I thought I could do it all by myself. Isnāt it true that our life is in our own hands? So I ranāfrom my Maker. I chose to live on my own terms.
I shouted and blamed You when I couldnāt make things work. I was frustrated, broken, and lost. But was it Your fault that I had pushed You away? Still, You didnāt walk out on me. Even when I whispered for a miracle, You showed upāfaithful and loving.
Now, halfway into the year, I feel the weight of the distance I created. I miss You. I miss the sweet fellowship we once had. I miss the peace that came from simply being in Your presence. I feel like Iām dying a little more each day without You. My heart longs for You to breathe fresh life into me.
Dear God, the hustle made me a prodigal girl.
So here I am, Lord. I donāt want to run anymore š. Can we go back to that sweet, loving relationship we hadāthe one where I knew I was Yours and You were mine?
