i know not all of my art will sell, and the more i create and post online, the more people seem to think the value of any given piece or the whole of my work goes down due to quantity, yet each piece is unique, and nullifies this absurd idea. this isnt just about me, im sure plenty of other artists are frustrated that this concept is so widely accepted. there are no rules to art and if you like somethin and wanna support the artist, just do it! make a statement that art is art and cant be assigned value based on mathematical principles such as volume and frequency, as well as it not bein a supply/demand market, but something unique unto itself. im gonna keep doin what im doin, stayin true to my style and releasin pieces as i make em. If it doesn't sell, i just give it away. Money never was the point. If you appreciate my art I want to find a way for you to have it

ive given away (and burned) so many pieces over the past few years, which im cool with as a general principle, but the sharp decline in interest in cryptoart in general is overwhelming. true, art itself isnt about money, but cryptoart is specifically based around money, so to not gain income from it while meme-makers and slop-prompters within the scene are gainin popularity is insulting and sad. i also draw cartoony type stuff on tshirts or whatever and people pay decent amounts fr it and never ask fr free stuff, its a very different audience, one that appreciates the product and the work put into it. the cryptoart scene isnt really about art, its about tryin to make a profit from other peoples work, and when "collectors" fail to do so, they shut out certain artists fr not bein popular enough or worthy enough.

I've been in the crypto art space a few months. This community showed me my art was appreciated because i sold the art I was posting for free on insta and fb, where I didn't get any engagement, but I know what you mean. But it's hard in general.
