this is not criticism. but just clocking a feeling:

i’ve been avoiding posting on the base app because i don’t want to make a coin.

i’ve tried rationalizing over and over why i don’t like coins.

and i don’t think i’ve gotten to the bottom of the real “why”.

but i don’t like coins. and i want to know why.

Would your feeling change if there were like....5 apps that used the coins in a non-financial way?

Like if @jessyjeanne wanted to let her community create memes in her style.  I buy her coin, use it as the template, and upload my own photo.  Out pops a new meme using my image, but in the style of her art.

until anyone can prove the core of coining isn’t pvp, then adding stuff around doesn’t change sentiment.

Yes, exactly. 
Like quite a lot of apps actually. 

There are so many ways of using the tokens, and somehow people just keep coming back to “money” — the most boring app of all time. 

If Zora just added -any- other functionality than “casino” the pushback would be over.
