look i love refi. but also no one really understands what refi is. critique my thinking: refi = regenerative digital economy economy = trust networks for trade digital economy = programmable money with new global trust networks regenerative digital economy = programming money aligned with real world impact at scale

The last statement resonates but I would tweak it slightly. Programmable money that causes and funds real world impact at scale. For me ReFi is all about connecting this new programmable money to the real world impact. Old world FIAT isn't being effectively directed to this work. Programmable money coordinates the capital and maximizes the impact.

I'd give it a broader definition: Web3-powered ecological and social impact. It's what you get when you combine regenerative economic philosophy with Web3 solutions. Programmable money feels too narrow to me. It's a core tool in the ReFi toolbox but not the only one.
