I feel the same. Even peripheral stuff — my 20-week ultrasound for this pregnancy was a male ultrasound tech. And he was totally fine but when he greeted me I was like 😬 welp, this didn't even occur to me as a possibility. My husband was with me which helped, but if he hadn't been, I would have felt very awkward
