I’ve been thinking about how crowdfunds on Farcaster handle unmet goals The current model, where all supporters get their funds back if the target isn’t fully reached, doesn’t always sit right with me. It puts creators in a tough spot: they may still be able to deliver something valuable with partial funding, but the momentum just gets erased. Maybe there’s a better way. What if supporters could choose to opt in to partial execution? Or maybe creators set flexible goals: • Minimum viable delivery • Full delivery • Bonus stretch That way, the project isn’t fully dependent on hitting 100% and backers still get to contribute meaningfully without the all or nothing pressure. Open to other models too, but I think the full refund by default might be limiting what could grow. @crowdfund
