Maybe a hot take? Without big breakthroughs beyond transformers and post-training quirks we’re still light years away from industrial revolution type of societal change. They nailed one aspect of human-cognition. I’d guess there’s a few more before escape velocity.

Feels like we’re in the LLM version of btc-maxi land. All in on one architecture, so we build sidechains and nuclear powered miners. But we never invent Ethereum. Without base-layer breakthroughs, the returns will stall.
