how is warplet balance calculated? i swapped some USDC from Celo to a Base ERC20 and immediately after the swap my balance went down about $40. 

Everything in activity adds up so I'm trying to figure out if there's an error in balance calculation or where I eviscerated $40.

I don’t think we optimistically calculate the balance right now, since you’re bridging there’s a period where you haven’t received it on the other chain yet so balance shows less than it actually is.

We should make it optimistic.

this happened to me on Metamask and I was wondering if that was the case but couldn't see 2x instances of it in Warplet.

You might be right...

I wonder if we are double counting Celo, this could be happening due to the Token Duality (it's considered both an ERC20 and a native asset). Could that explain it?

my trade was for $90 which is why the random difference of $40 is throwing me off.
