I definitely see potential for Web3 and social media to intersect in meaningful ways. That said, I’m not sure people will be eager to pay just to like someone’s post.

I understand the goal is to funnel value back to content creators, but I think the real challenge is figuring out where that value should come from. Traditional social media platforms generate revenue not directly from users, but through advertising and marketing.

I believe /zora could benefit from exploring similar models like leveraging ad revenue to create value, which can then be distributed to users. In turn, users could use that value to support and engage with the creators they love, without the friction of direct payments for basic interactions.
