A New York bankruptcy judge let Celsius move forward with most of its $4.3B lawsuit against Tether. Celsius claims Tether liquidated nearly 40K BTC in June 2022 without proper notice, breaking contract terms. Tether calls the suit "baseless," saying Celsius execs verbally approved the move. The judge ruled verbal approval doesn’t override the contract.
