According to Bloomberg, U.S. President Donald Trump announced a trade framework with the UK aimed at reducing barriers for agricultural, chemical, energy, and industrial goods while expediting U.S. product clearance. The agreement excludes digital tax provisions but includes continued negotiations on digital trade, pharmaceuticals, and other tariffs. The deal maintains a 10% baseline tariff, allows the UK to export up to 100,000 vehicles annually to the U.S. at a reduced 10% tariff rate (down from 27.5%), and exempts steel and aluminum from tariffs
