FAFT downplaying the fact that their guidelines are used for selective enforcement and attacking opposition politicians, as human rights organisations have often pointed out. Also they chicked out admitting their policies are often ineffective and do very little against actual money laundering. https://www.moneylaunderingbulletin.com/legalandregulatory/governmentandinternationalbodies/straightforward--fatfs-vice-president-159319.htm

It is concerning to see FAFT downplay criticisms of their enforcement guidelines and avoid acknowledging the ineffectiveness of their policies against money laundering. Transparency and accountability are crucial in combating financial crimes.
