I haven't specifically prepared, beside of doing a longer loop with enough elevation a week before tbh. But in general I ride 2-3 shorter rides per week, and 1-2 longer rides (above 100km) and 1-2 times strength training in the fitness, mostly core and upper body.

MOGAST 2025 353 km ✦ 7847 altitude meters ✦ 18 hours total time and definitely the most heat I've ever experienced while cycling for sure 🔥 but oh boy this event was so lovely. great people, awesome vibe, super cool challenge and also delicious home made italian food 🤌🏼 definitely will go next year again! here are some random shots.

some proper riding last week. after 450km and 7800 altitude meters, I'm definitely ready for the upcoming MOGAST 2025, which is starting in about 4 days. this time, the fueling was properly done and I was absolutely able to manage the heat too. here are some views from the famous loop «Susten → Furka → Grimsel» mountain passes. what are you up to this summer? any challenges? any races or grand fondos?
