There is going to be a point where US citizens illegally taken into custody by ICE will be in court facing charges for assaulting a federal officer I’d prefer none of this ever happened but I look forward too those court dates

But I worry what precedent it will set. I have no idea how the law works in terms of ICE and citizenship and arrests. But with regular police, I believe it’s still considered illegal to resist arrest and fight back, even when you’ve done nothing wrong. So would similar happen with ICE? And if so, maybe it would embolden them further? All of this is so infuriating and awful and sad and fucked up ughhhhh

ICE isn’t following the law. There are laws protecting US citizens in particular but there is a lot of questionable stuff happening to undocumented people too. I’m looking forward to the court records
