is mirror.xyz dead? i wrote a piece there for @highlight but the entire website seems to be down. being it decentralized, i guess i should be able to retrieve the article even if the frontend is not working? or is it just gone?

As you write, it should not be lost being onchain. Would need to dig into the topic on how to find it again without the frontend. Also how will it be displayed properly 🤔
As in web3 we own our contents, the service has a lot less responsibility 🫣

yes, true. they got back to me and apparently there was some downtime but everything is working now! i asked paragraph how to retrieve the content without relying on the frontend, i'll let you know :)
