I’m thinking more and more about the fact that I am living life for my own sake. Never wanted children and still don’t so everything I accumulate and do is just for me and will be for my existence for the next maybe 50/60 years (ok maybe more with peptides). I have been planning on building a vineyard and I still want to but I am also thinking what for? To enjoy it for a finite amount of time while I spend funds and stress getting it all setup…why not spend that capital and time enjoying the wines of established winemakers and save myself any headaches around building, maintaining etc. It’s been an interesting few weeks where these thoughts have become more and more prevalent.
